Rolling Road Specifications

The Brawn wind tunnel uses an endless woven aramide belt with a finger tip overlap joint and a choice of rough or smooth textures.

Load cells positioned under the wheels measure the aerodynamic down force produced by the vehicle.

Full boundary layer control applied ahead of the rolling road to provide clean air with no separation.

Adjustable under-belt suction to prevent belt lift.

Temperature controlled water cooled platen.

Automated turn table, yaw range from -7.5° to +7.5°.
